Lady shows off items groom bought for bride price ceremony [PHOTOS]

One Deborah Ifunanya from Enugu State took to her Facebook space to share photos of items purchased by her husband to be as he came for her hand in marriage over the weekend.
The items on the photos has however triggered reactions as some Facebook users think it outrageous to buy so much in the name of traditional marriage list. We all know the controversy surrounding the traditional rites of the Igbos, how expensive they can be, its however a surprise to see all that was purchased for this lady by her husband to be. Over the years, some have called for the reduction in these marriage rites, as it has prevented some from getting married.
According to some sources, the ceremony is called IKPANRI and it is a normal traditional ceremony practiced in Awgu, Enugu State, others argued that it shouldn’t be practiced anymore as the bride has the right to wave it off for her man.
