Fake EFCC Officials Caught While Trying To Extort Money From A Yahoo Boy
Wonders they say shall never end as some group of young men disguised themselves as EFCC Officials to extort money from one Ijadunola Olajide whom they heard on information that he is a yahoo boy.
Omotayo Segun, Alausa Lekan and Damilola Samson have confessed to their crime when they were being paraded on friday 20th december by the men of the Nigerian Police force at the Eleyele divisional headquarter in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the Commissioner of Police In Oyo State, Shina Olukolu he said "The trio, with one at large now conspired together and went to the house of Olajide at Idi -alaro, Elebu area of Ibadan under the guise of being EfCC operatives with a fake identity card and purported search warrant.
This was with a view to intimidate and extort the victim of some amount of money.
"The victim however raised alarm to attract neighbours having discovered that the suspects came to his house with fake documents.
According to one of the suspect, he said that " this is our first job and we have not made any money out of it for now. We actually wanted to make cool money but unfortunately, we were caught. infact i am so disappointed in myself for what just happened and i have decided to turn a new leaf when i finally regain my freedom" he concluded.
