- PDP BoT is currently meeting over the outcome of Kogi and Bayelsa elections
- The party lost the gubernatorial election held in the two states on Saturday, November 16
- Uche Secondus, the national chairman of the party, is presiding over the meeting
Apparently dissatisfied over the party's twin-loss in the Saturday, November 16, Kogi and Bayelsa elections, the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, is currently presiding over a meeting of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), summoned to review the outcome of the elections.

Nigerian Tribune reports that the meeting is taking place at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.
Legit.ng gathered that the party boss is expected to brief journalists on the outcome of the meeting.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that six days after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced winners of the Bayelsa and Kogi governorship elections, senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rejected the poll's results.

The PDP lawmakers made their position regarding the elections known on Wednesday, November 20, at a news conference in Abuja.

It was reported that the candidates of the APC in Bayelsa and Kogi won the gubernatorial elections according to INEC’s announcements.
Speaking on behalf of the senators, the minority leader of the Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, said they were disturbed by the elections.
Ababribe said they rejected the elections because the results announced by INEC did not reflect what actually happened on the field.
Also the candidate of the PDP in the Kogi governorship election, Musa Wada, had rejected results released by INEC on the election before the final announcement of the results.

Wada had on Sunday, November 17, alleged that the results released were doctored to favour Governor Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
